The Club Atlético Mineiro is located in the city of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. Founded on March 25, 1908, by a group of students, its traditional colors are black and white. The club´s most popular symbol and nickname is the rooster and it has one of the largest fan bases in Minas Gerais. This crowd of fans makes it one of the most popular clubs in the country outside of the Rio-São Paulo axis.
