Popularly called Coxa, Coritiba Foot Ball Club was founded on October 12, 1909, by German descendants. It is one of the most popular clubs in Paraná and its colors are green and white. Its stadium is Couto Pereira, inaugurated in 1932 and with a current capacity of up to 40,000 people. Their great local rival is Athletico Paranaense, with whom they play the Atletiba classic match.
