Esporte Clube Juventude was born in 1913; a soccer club located in the city of Caxias do Sul in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. On June 27, 1999, Juventude won its most important title by beating Botafogo in the final of the Brazilian Cup. As a result of this achievement, the club played the Copa Libertadores de América for the first time in its history.
In 2020, after 13 seasons of absence, the club finished in third position in Serie B, a position that allowed it to return to the top flight of brazilian football.
